Dark bay Damon presents himself displaying the desired elegance with an expressive face and big, intelligent eyes. The poll area is flexible, the neck long and well-set. The structure of saddle area, back, and croup is very harmonious. The legs are correct and dry, with big, well-defined joints. His walk is always regular, with big strides and good rhythm. The trot is supple, with very good carriage from the hind legs and very regular. He canters in Holsteiner fashion – with powerful up-hill strides, ground-covering and with lots of substance. His temperament is excellent as well – he is smart and always focused. His sire Damon Hill is definitely being at the top of his trade on the international dressage scene.

Under Helen Langehanenberg, he won team silver at the Rotterdam European Championships in 2011, team silver at the London Olympics, team gold and individual silver at the Herning European Championships in 2013 and team gold and two silver medals at the Caen WEG in 2014. At 3-year-old, his dam was sold through the 1996 Neumünster elite auction at 45.000 DM. For years ridden by Mr.Walter Huntenburg of Trittau, she was later successfully put to stud. By Dolany she produced Dixiland, a top dressage talent which qualified for the Swedish National Championship at 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-years-old under Rasmus Haid Bondergaard.

His damsire Loutano was a successful dressage horse at international level under Margit Otto-Crépin and for many years leased to France as sought-after breeding stallion.
